Gasco Offshore Geotechnical Program

Project Overview

AGSME was contracted by Abu Dhabi Gas Industries (Gasco) in collaboration with NPCC to deliver comprehensive offshore geotechnical and survey services for their offshore facilities program. The project required detailed seabed investigation to support platform foundation design and pipeline routing across multiple offshore locations in the Arabian Gulf.

Scope of Work

• Seabed CPT testing at multiple locations
• Soil sampling and laboratory testing
• Geophysical sub-bottom profiling
• Bathymetric surveys
• Geotechnical data interpretation and reporting

Key Challenges

Operating in challenging offshore conditions with strong currents and limited weather windows. Multiple survey locations required efficient mobilisation and demobilisation planning to maintain project schedule.

Results & Outcomes

All deliverables completed on time and within budget. Zero safety incidents throughout the campaign. Data quality exceeded client specifications, enabling confident engineering design decisions.
