About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Marine Survey Party Chief to lead offshore survey operations, manage survey crews, and ensure the highest standards of data quality across hydrographic, geophysical, and positioning operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead offshore survey teams during marine operations
- Plan and execute hydrographic and geophysical survey campaigns
- Ensure data quality control and processing standards
- Manage survey equipment mobilisation and calibration
- Coordinate with vessel master and project managers
- Prepare daily progress reports and final survey deliverables
Requirements
- Diploma/degree in Hydrographic Survey, Geomatics, or related field
- Minimum 6 years offshore survey experience
- Competency with multibeam, side-scan sonar, and positioning systems
- IMCA-recognised survey qualifications preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Valid offshore medical certificate
